Developed by a Microsoft Certified Master Instructor with over 15 years of experience, this training provides comprehensive coverage on Microsoft Excel. It teaches you everything you need to know about the application, from the fundamentals to the most advanced features.

You will also learn two very incredible, and super valuable, skills:

  • how to harvest data from the web and
  • how to create online forms which allow you to gather data from individuals.

As an additional bonus, you can download all of the project files used in the videos so you can get a “hands-on” approach to learning the material.

At first I was intimidated by the constant usage of numbers, since math and decimals frighten me; however, the instructor speaks in a very fluid, coherent and calming way that it keeps me motivated and willing to learn.

Another feature most people are not paying attention to is that Excel programming utilizes a simple but effective tool called the “VBA” – the hidden programming language that runs quietly in the background while you work. It’s very easy and straight forward to use.

Daniel Strong, the instructor, will also show you the easiest tricks to learn this basic language in a fun and progressive method.

To the point and easy to understand, great examples to use for more complex applications. If you have some knowledge of excel this is the perfect cours to compliment your skills and get them up a level with some practice.

Whether you’re starting from square one or aspiring to become an absolute spreadsheet power user, this course will give you a deep understanding of the advanced formulas and functions. These features have transformed Excel from a basic program into a dynamic and powerful analytics tool.

By the end of this Udemy course you’ll be writing robust, elegant formulas and functions from scratch, allowing you to:

  • easily build dynamic tools and dashboards to filter, display and analyze your data
  • go rogue and design your own formula-based formatting rules

  • pull real-time data from APIs directly into Excel (weather, stock quotes, directions, etc.)
  • manipulate dates, times, text, and arrays
  • automate tedious and time-consuming analytics tasks using cell formulas and functions

In general, the course is well organised in my opinion, the topics bring together all the necessary functions, and if one has willingness to learn deeper after the course all the other alternative functions will be quite easy to understand and apply. The explanations by Chris were comprehensible and entertaining along with the examples, so I even did not feel how the overall course was passed, and listened with full attention.
